Frequently asked questions
How many URLs can I check?
Up to fifteen per run. Paste more and the list is trimmed; duplicate lines are removed automatically before checking.
What does "No response" mean?
The hostname did not resolve, the connection timed out or was refused, or the server never sent an HTTP status line. The URL is effectively offline.
Why is a working page reported as 403?
Some servers block automated clients. A 403 for bots does not necessarily mean visitors are blocked, but it does mean crawlers cannot index the page.
Does it check the final page after redirects?
Only when you tick the follow option. Otherwise each URL is requested once and its direct response is reported, which is what link audits need.
