Frequently asked questions
Which headers matter for SEO?
The status code, Location on redirects, Cache-Control, Content-Type and X-Robots-Tag. A 200 with a noindex X-Robots-Tag header silently keeps a page out of search results.
Why do I get a 403 or 503?
Some sites block automated requests or require JavaScript challenges. Try a different User-Agent profile; if the block persists, the server is filtering by IP reputation.
What is the difference between 301 and 302?
A 301 is a permanent move that search engines follow and consolidate. A 302 is temporary and keeps the original URL indexed, which is rarely what you want.
Does the tool send cookies?
No cookies, no authentication. The request is made from a clean session so you see the response an anonymous first-time visitor would receive.
