What this tool gives you

Decimal or hex input

Paste plain numbers or 0x-prefixed hexadecimal values.

Range checking

Values outside 0 to 4294967295 are flagged instead of producing a wrong address.

Clean list

A second block lists only the resulting addresses for easy copying.

Frequently asked questions

Which range is valid?

IPv4 addresses are 32-bit, so the integer must be between 0 (0.0.0.0) and 4294967295 (255.255.255.255). Anything else is reported as out of range.

Can I enter negative numbers from PHP?

Add 4294967296 to a negative signed value to get the unsigned form, then convert. The tool accepts only non-negative integers.

Is this the inverse of IP2Long?

Yes. Both tools use the same big-endian convention, so converting an address to a long and back returns the original address.

Why would an address be stored as a number?

Databases compare and index integers much faster than strings, which matters for geolocation tables and firewall rule sets.
